5th Grade General Education Classes (not APAAS)

 

Santiago Hills will provide all of the necessary supplies for your child to have a quality educational experience. However, you may choose to assist the school by purchasing any of the supplies on our wish list for your student. Supplies are specifically for your student and will not be shared. Please note, contributions are voluntary and all students will be allowed to participate regardless of whether a supply donation is made. Supplies will be made available by the school if you are unable to assist the school by purchasing these supplies for your student’s use.

 

  • 1 2-inch binder
  • 1 set of 5 dividers
  • 5 single subject spiral notebooks (approximately 9 x 11, college ruled)
  • 1 pencil box or pouch
  • Pencils (regular or mechanical)
  • Colored pens (fine or medium point, not markers) – red, green, blue, black, purple (PaperMate Flair pens work well)

 

Field trips:

Santiago Hills will provide all of the necessary supplies for your child to have a quality educational experience. However, you may choose to assist the school by purchasing the following supplies below for your student.

  • 1” size Binder w/metal rings & pocket inside cover – no “zipper” binders, they are too big
  • tab dividers labeled at home -- Homework, Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, Technology
  • 1 Pkg. wide ruled paper. Please put paper in your child’s notebook
  • Sharpened # 2 pencils, no mechanical pencils, please (need two in desk at all times)
  • A red correcting pen
  • A silent reading book to be kept at school
  • Calculator (no scientific calculators needed)
  • Colored Markers

2. Other donations that our class would benefit from:

  • One sewing needle and three different colors of thread for an art project to be completed the first week of school
  • One sheet of neon colored poster board to be used for art project completed the first week of school
  • 1 Ream of Xerox paper

Fifth grade teachers will request donations around $60.00 to cover admission and transportation fees for field trips during the school year. Please note that while it is permissible under state law for IUSD to collect fees for field trips, all students will be allowed to participate regardless of whether a contribution is made.

6th grade

However, you may choose to assist the school by purchasing any of the supplies on our wish list for your student to use at home during Distance Learning and at school when we return to campus. Supplies are specifically for your student and will not be shared. Unless otherwise noted, supplies will need to be carried to and from school, so students can use them at home and at school. Please note, contributions are voluntary and all students will be allowed to participate regardless of whether a supply donation is made. Supplies will be made available by the school for home use if you are unable to assist the school by purchasing these supplies for your student’s use.
