Kindergarten Supply List 2022-2023

Santiago Hills Elementary Kindergarten Supply List

 

Please label the following items with your student’s first and last name:

-Backpack, standard size, one that will fit a folder and a lunchbox. (Please no mini backpacks)

-Lunch box (preferably insulated)

-Reusable water bottle

 

Santiago Hills will provide all the necessary supplies for your child to have a quality education experience. However, you may choose to assist the school by purchasing the following supplies for your student and our classroom. The following items do not need to be labeled. We use a community supply method in kindergarten. These supplies will be used and replenished throughout the school year.

-2 boxes of Crayola crayons

-12 Glue sticks (Elmer’s purple disappearing glue sticks preferred)

-1 box of Crayola regular-thick markers

-Pack of Thick Black Sharpies

-Baby wipes

-Kleenex

-Band-Aids

-Clorox Wipes

-Black Thick Expo Markers

-Ream of White Copy Paper

 

Other items our classroom would benefit from:

-Ziploc Bags (Gallon, Quart, Sandwich)

  • 4 single subject spiral notebooks (approximately 9 x 11, college ruled)
  • 1 pencil box or pouch
  • Pencils (regular or mechanical)
  • Colored pens (fine or medium point, not markers) – red, green, blue, black, purple (PaperMate Flair pens work best)
  • 2 pocket folders (plastic works best)
  • Expo chisel tip markers (black only)
  • Glue sticks

However, you may choose to assist the school by purchasing any of the supplies on our wish list for your student to use at home during Distance Learning and at school when we return to campus. Supplies are specifically for your student and will not be shared. Unless otherwise noted, supplies will need to be carried to and from school, so students can use them at home and at school. Please note, contributions are voluntary and all students will be allowed to participate regardless of whether a supply donation is made. Supplies will be made available by the school for home use if you are unable to assist the school by purchasing these supplies for your student’s use.
